Volume 50, number 3 of the Journal of Christian Education was dedicated to honouring the eminent Christian educator Harold Fallding who died in 2007. He was an associate editor of the Journal in his early professional years in Australia and subsequently became the founding Professor of Sociology at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Amongst his many distinctions was election as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
